for the week. Please sign and send it back the following school day.

Please check your child’s backpack for this binder.

Folder
·
Please send back the binder
with folders/homework and/ or little
readers on Mondays and Fridays.
·
If by chance a little reader
gets lost, you, as the parent, will have to pay $2.00 for each reader before
your child is allowed to take another one home to read.
·
different from Mondays or
Fridays.
·
We have started our “Book-It
Program”. Please make sure your child is reading every night.
If your child reads at least 10 books a
month, he/she will receive a book-it certificate.
This will entitle your
child to receive a personal pan pizza from Pizza Hut.
I sent home a word folder for
your
child to learn to recognize and practice
spelling new words. This
folder will
stay at home, and I will be sending
new words each week to put in the
folder. This folder is a
very important
tool for your child to use while in
kindergarten. If he/she
learns to read
each word without sounding it out, he/she
will become a better reader.
Also, as your
child learns to read each word, have them
to spell it.
Thank You,
Mrs. Lovenburg
