Golden Rules of Cheerleading

 

1. Cheer every game as though it were your last.

2. When all else fails, let your spirit shine through

3. Don't eat the megaphone.

4. The fans are looking to you, not at you.

5. Sportsmanship starts and ends with the cheerleader

6. It takes years to build your character...and mere seconds to destroy it.

7. Democracy ends at the coach's door.

8. Somewhere in the stands is a little girl who wants to be just like you...don't let her down.

9. The difference between good and great is a little extra practice.

10. Mom doesn't know where your uniform is because she didn't wear it last. 

11. Keep the cheer in cheerleader!
