
The basic role of the school counselor is to develop, implement
and manage a comprehensive developmental guidance and counseling program
available for all students in the school; consult with teachers,
parents, and staff to enhance their effectiveness in supporting students
in school; provide support to other educational programs; and maintain
high standards of professionalism.
The following are major expectations of the Carnegie School Guidance
Program for its students:
